Will it kill my plants? On the contrary, most plants do better with window film, because they don’t “burn” on sunny days.
Is it shiny stuff? Unless someone requests a highly reflective film, most films we install for residential and small commercial applications are designed with very low reflectivity. Even clear glass is reflective at certain times of the day at particular angles, and window film reacts similarly.
Is the film dark? Our most popular films are neutral in appearance and will not make the outdoors look gray or the indoors look dim. On the contrary, the view will be enhanced with sharper color and more definition as much of the harsh glare is eliminated.
Will it scratch? Special scratch resistant coating on Huper Optik and most professional grade window film products stands up well to normal every day wear, making cleaning and maintenance trouble free.
How long will it last? Huper Optik window films are backed by a manufacturers’ lifetime written warranty for residential applications and up to a 15 year warranty for commercial applications.
Will it discolor? The metal alloys used in window films are highly color stable. Huper Optik Nano Ceramic films contain ceramic, there are no dyes or pigments in the film, so there is nothing to change color.
Can window film really reduce sun damage in my home? Yes. Window films screen out over 99.9% of damaging ultraviolet rays to help protect your fabrics, furniture, rugs and artwork.
